2016 Summer Camp Dates: July 11 - 15 Tri-District Camp Each summer, youth from throughout North America visit Lakeview for a unique Christian camp experience in the Piney Woods of East Texas. Our camps provide young people and teens with the opportunity to get closer to God through worship, education, activities, and involvement with others seeking the same goal. Lakeview provides a safe and welcoming environment for campers to enjoy nature and to further themselves as God’s people through activities such as the David Barber Challenge Course, gospel teachings and interaction with others. While camp is a learning experience, it is also a fun one. Campers can bask in the serenity of our 1,300 acre property or take part in individual and team recreational activities including: • Boating and Kayaking • Fishing • Hiking • Basketball/Softball/Baseball/Soccer • Beach Volleyball • Swimming and Water Slide • Archery • Challenge Course • Gaga Pits • Biking • Human Foosball I would love for you to consider sending your kids to camp this summer. I will be co-directing the Tri-District Camp and I can assure you we are planning a fantastic week. Camp is for those entering 4th grade – those who have just graduated High School. Early Bird Registration is March 1- April 30 $325/camper and Regular Registration is May 1-May 31 $375/camper. This includes transportation on a chartered district bus. Summer Camp Touches So Many Last summer Lakeview hosted 3,331 campers with over 200 making commitments to Christ for the first time, hundreds rededicating their lives to serve Christ, and 114 indicating that God could be calling them into professional ministry. I am excited about what God will do this summer and I hope you will allow your kids to be a part of it. I would be happy to talk to you personally and answer any questions.
