2013 Easter Eggstravaganza
March 24, 1-4 pm

The 2nd Annual Easter Eggstravaganza was a HUGE success:

 · Close to 600 children were in attendance, playing games and scooping up 10,000 Easter eggs;

· More than to 1,400 people visited the city park on a WINDY, but sunny day,

· 26 sponsors gave generously to our community event;

· Volunteers came from Sealy High School, teachers, local churches, boys scout troops, youth groups, the Sealy YMCA, local businesses and many, many more; 

· 16 children under age nine were grand prize egg winners: leaving with new bikes, trikes, YMCA summer swim passes, sport bags, Sealybraton passes and Dynamo tickets;

· More than 40 children were put on a list of early VBS registration;

· Our event flyer was distributed to nearly 1,500 children attending Selman Elementary School and local daycares; was mailed in the Sealy utility bill; and was displayed in many local businesses;

· Our members and youth got front-page billing in the Sealy News.
